The HVGS Director of Enrolments, Mrs Jenny Fisher will help you with any of your questions regarding enrolments for Pre-school to Senior School, Scholarships, Open Mornings and Campus Tours. We have waiting lists for most year groups, so it is advisable to lodge your Application for Admission K-12 as soon as possible.
How to Enrol ?
Application for Admission Kindergarten to Year 12
Please download and complete the Application for Admission below to have your child placed on the Waiting List at Hunter Valley Grammar School or you may request a hard copy Prospectus which will also include an Application for Admission Form.
The non refundable Application Fee of $220 must be paid to place your child on the Waiting List for a future year of entry. Please either complete your credit card details on the Application for Admission Form, pay via EFT or enclose a cheque when you return the Application for Admission.

The Waiting List for K-12 is based on the date of application and with regard to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the Disability Discrimination Amendment Act 2005.
Places will be offered to students on a waiting list for a specific year level based on consideration of a variety of factors including the date of application, currently enrolled siblings, children of Old Scholars and gender balance.
Changes to an Application for Admission (eg. change to the requested year of entry) can be made at any time prior to the requested year of entry. Please notify the School if there is any change to your address or contact details, so that you do not miss out on the next stage of the Enrolment Process.

Approximately 1 year prior to your requested year of entry (or earlier depending on nominated commencement date), parents/guardians will be asked to complete a full Application for Enrolment and forward further documentation to the School.

How to Enrol for Preschool

below to have your child placed on the Preschool Waiting List at Hunter Valley Grammar School.
It is strongly advisable, when completing a Preschool Application for Admission, to complete a Kindergarten Application for Admission at the same time to ensure a position on the waitlist for School.
Preschool Application for Admission Fee
The non refundable Preschool Application for Admission Fee of $75 must be paid to place your child on the Preschool Waiting List for a future year of entry.Please either complete your credit card details on the Application for Admission Form, pay via EFT or enclose a cheque when you return the Preschool Application for Admission.
A fee of $72 per day in 2018 will be levied on all enrolments, plus an additional After School Care fee if applicable. Please download the current Preschool ASC for further information on current costs for After School Care.
Your child must be 3 years of age to commence at HVGS Preschool.
Preference Days for Attendance
In order to ensure continuity of learning and social development for all students, the structure of our Preschool works on a 3 day / 2 day split. Students intending to attend Preschool for 3 days will attend on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. While students who are planning to attend for 2 days will be at Preschool on a Monday and Tuesday. Older children may select the 5 day (Monday-Friday) option depending on availability.

Criteria for Selection of Preschool Enrolment Applications
Hunter Valley Grammar School Early Learning Centre will follow the Priority of Access Guidelines at all times when enrolling children. The Waiting List application will reflect these guidelines to ensure that access is provided to families using these priorities.
The Early Learning Centre will use the Priority of Access Guidelines to prioritise the Waiting List and to allocate available Preschool places to families.
