Scholarships
Every year Hunter Valley Grammar School offers outstanding young students the opportunity to apply for a scholarship. Scholarships are offered in the areas of academia, music and visual arts.
Scholarships take the form of a part or full remission in fees depending on results and are only available to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents.
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2011

Application deadline is Friday 9 April, 2010, after which a Late Registration Fee of $120 is charged automatically, payable in addition to the Basic Registration Fee of $95. ie. $215 total.

MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2011
Music Scholarships are available to students entering Years 5 - 11 in 2011. You must download the Registration Form and Guidelines. Applications must be submitted on or before 9 April 2010.
Applicants successful in gaining an audition will be contacted and invited to audition. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by mail.
ART SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2011
Art Scholarships are available to students entering years 9 to 11 in 2011. Please download the Registration Form and Guidelines. Applications must be submitted on or before 9 April 2010. Applicants are required to submit a CV outlining their Visual Arts achievements including their involvement in competitions and exhibitions. Applicants are also required to submit photographs or art work with their application.
Applicants successful in gaining an interview will be required to submit their portfolio and critically analyse and review artwork. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by mail.
PROCESS OF NOTIFICATION
All results of the scholarships exams, auditions and interviews are submitted to the Scholarship Committee. Successful applicants will be contacted and are requested to attend an interview with the Principal. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by mail.
