Moonlight Avenue

The production Moonlight Avenue was an enormous success in 2004.  Drama and music students dazzled audiences with their performances.

The musical was a particularly ambitious one as it was written and directed by English Teacher, Derek Fisher and the score was written by Music Teacher, Steve Gidney.

The story was set in 'Moonloight Avenue' where homes are broken adn dilapidated but the spirit of the people ran high.  The Local gangster 'Uncle Benny' keeps everyone locked in the poverty cycle by controlling what they do and say.  Anyone with talent either workds for Benny or somehow 'loses' their talent.

The story deepeens when a mysterious event from the past filters into Moonlight Avenue, concerning Uncle Benny and the father of the talented Ellie.
