Middle School

Our Middle School encompasses Years 7 to 9. It recognises the important phases that this group of individuals enter as they move through early adolescence. The shift from the certainty of the primary school classroom to the complexity of a secondary school timetable along with the changes young people experience at this time in their lives requires a clear and responsive structure. The Middle School has adapted appropriate behaviour and support structures to help them in their journey to adulthood. Our specially developed Transition Program enables new and current students to make the step to secondary education with ease and confidence.

The Middle School makes use of its House structure as the basis of a strong pastoral care system. All students are members of a multi-age House Tutor group within their House. The Head of House has a direct responsibility for all students within their House and reports to the Head of the Middle School. Parent communication about their son/daughter will be through the Head of House.

Our Middle School provides a quality curriculum, breadth of sporting and co-curricular opportunities and a range of experiences that promote resilience, independence and confidence. Importantly, there is a focus on relationships, leadership, community service and personal development.
