Hunter Valley Grammar School offers a number of scholarships for academic, music and artistic ability. These scholarships take the form of a remission in fees from 25% to 100% depending on results. Scholarships are only available to Australian citizens and permanent residents.
On-Line Academic Scholarship Application [2008] for Entry 2009 [CLOSED]
Application deadline is Friday 11 April after which a penalty fee is incurred.
Exams will be sat on Saturday 10 May.

Students in Years 4 & 5 (2008) will sit the PSP.
Students in Years 6 to Year 10 (2008) sit the CSTP.
- You must first complete the information form. When you click submit, the form will go to the school and you are directed to the ACER website where you are required to complete further information and make an on-line payment.

Selection and Notification Process
Students sit the Scholarship Exam in May.
Successful and unsuccessful students are notified as soon as practicable.
Successful students will attend an interview with the Principal and complete enrolment process.
Length of Academic Scholarships
Academic Scholarships are subject to annual review by the School. Should a student's performance fall below reasonable expectations, the scholarship may be either reduced or withdrawn at the discretion of the School. However, it is expected that a student's scholarship will continue until the end of Year 12.

Visual Art Scholarships are available to students from Years 9 - 11.
