Ever wondered how photographers capture those light trails, star trails, misty water or blurred motion in a photograph? Long exposure is a  photography technique that requires a little patience to master, but the results are exciting.

You’ll need a camera with manual controls and a tripod; but now is the perfect time to learn a new skill.

Here’s some help with getting started on long exposure. There’s lots of videos online too which will step you through.
