Millie Green (Class of 2021) has lopped her long locks to raise funds for the Wigs for Kids Foundation.

Millie’s started with a goal to raise $500, but her fundraiser has just surpassed the $1,700 mark.

“I am cutting my hair to fundraise to help sick kids throughout Australia,” says Millie. “Any donation to the cause will also allow the Kids with Cancer Foundation to continue with their financial support of families that have a child suffering cancer.”

Not only has Millie raised a significant amount of money for such a worthy cause, but her hair will also be made into a wig for a sick child.

This is not the first time Millie has had the chop for charity; she shaved her hair to raise money for cancer when she was 8.

“It’s a small things that makes a big difference,” says Millie.
