Why Hunter Valley Grammar School?

Year 9 can be the time when things start to really change! Friendships become important and it might seem like you don’t ‘get’ your child as much. Growing up can have its bumps, but we’re here to help make it a bit smoother.

In Year 9, our exciting lessons keep students interested and connected to learning. Plus, our support programs help students figure out what they’re into, how they are changing, and what makes them happy at school. Not to mention dozens of co-curricular activities to inspire!

We can enrol new students into the Senior School all year round!

We welcome your enquiry and if you’d like to chat with key staff about your child’s academic and pastoral care at HVGS, we can certainly arrange that too.

We know that a happy start in a new school is really important, so we have structures in place to ensure a friendly welcome and a supported transition.
