Service isn’t just something he gives lip service to; he is a principal with a mission to sustain a school where people are treated with respect and dignity and he backs this up with his own actions, words and deeds. It is what he does and says on a daily basis, that is the essence of his effectiveness.

Paul joined Hunter Valley Grammar School in 2006 and has thirty-five years’ experience in independent schools. He embodies a set of core values that support student and teacher learning.
As a progressive thinker, he is dedicated to the overall development of well-rounded productive young people ready to thrive in a global workforce.
He is a Board Director of the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA), Chairman of the NSW Combined Independent Schools Sports Council (CIS), an Observer on the Board of the Association of Independent Schools of NSW (AISNSW), a Director of the Head of Independent Coeducational Schools (HICES) and of Hunter Region Independent Schools (HRIS) and the Chairman of HICES Debating; highlighting his commitment to education not just in the Hunter, but beyond.
